Daily News

Hello All!

We hope this finds you well & staying safe! As the 2020 Federal/NC Tax Filing & Payment Deadline has been moved back to 5/17/21, any quarterly 2021 tax year estimated payments are still due on 4/15/21. Unfortunately, the tax year after a pandemic is quite unpredictable and has been a challenge for us all. We received an extremely high/unlikely quantity of client tax files that have hindered our normal procedures as such listed in the Annual Tax Organizer.

*NOTE: If you are concerned you will have to pay in estimated taxes, we suggest you pay in a similar amount you paid in last tax year for each. As the post office has been delayed, I would advise you to pay the estimated tax payments online to save time and “postal processing” delays, just to be on the safe side. Any estimated tax payments should be noted & shared with our office to include on your 2020 Tax Returns during preparation. If you overpaid, then you will receive the monies back as a refund.

You may follow the links below to make any 2021 Estimated Tax Payments online:

Federal:     https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay

NC:           https://www.ncdor.gov/file-pay/individual-estimated-income-tax-form-nc-40

Thank you for your patience and understanding! We will be in touch with any questions or concerns until completion. 😊

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we are all still recovering from 2020!
